A year ago my children loved cuddling on mom, now they are non-stop toddlers who only want to cuddle when they are tired or sick.
Yesterday my children woke up and wanted their blanket/owl before they got out of their crib, now will they even want them?
How are we to know when the “last time” will be?
The last bottle, the last crawl, the last time they want mom to read their favorite book for the thousandth time?
Minutes turn into hours, hours turn into days and the next thing you know they are all grown up.
Then you ask yourself:
Where did the time go?
Did I teach them everything they need to know?
How are my babies a year and a half… four… eighteen?!
Don’t blink.
Take in today. Take in tomorrow.
Because before we even know it, we are missing the Truck Book we just read for the thousandth time. We are missing the kisses before bed. We are missing the “mama” and “dada” that is said over and over again.
& we are then stuck looking back at the “last time”
